Isamu "Sam" Nagano
Isamu "Sam" Nagano is a baseball coach and writer based in Akita, Japan. He publishes The Japan Baseball Playbook, a newsletter on scouting, recruiting, and coaching that bridges the gap between Japanese and global baseball. He played at Komazawa University Iwamizawa High School and Hokkai Gakuen University. Since 2014, Sam has coached at the high school and college levels in Alberta, Canada; Northern California, United States; and Hokkaido, Japan.
