Caleb Henley Angell

Caleb is an attorney and Constitutional Law Fellow at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty in Washington, D.C., and has embarked on a PhD program at the University of Aberdeen in researching theological ethical issues. Caleb recently completed a Master of Studies in theology and Christian ethics at the University of Oxford — where he also played for, and was vice-captain of the university's baseball team. He has also held several legal positions with the federal government, including as an Honors Attorney within the Department of Defense and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland.

Caleb earned his J.D. summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. summa cum laude in History & Political Science from Friends University in Kansas. Originally from a dairy farm in New York’s verdant Hudson Valley, Caleb enjoys agriculture and cinema (in addition to baseball) and is now based in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife and son.
